About Us


chuckDr. Charles J. “Chuck” Harrell earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He continued his education at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.  Following graduation, Dr. Harrell practiced for six years in the United States Air Force, stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, and Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Florida. Since then, he has been serving the Petal community in private practice.

Dr. Harrell loves helping people smile. One reason he chose a career in dentistry is that he loves to work with his hands.  He says, “The joy of changing a person’s life by creating a beautiful healthy smile is one the intangible rewards of being a dentist.”

Dr. Harrell is married to Ramona, who serves as Petal Family Dentistry’s Operations Manager.  They have twin sons, Matthew and Nathan. They also have a daughter from Honduras who came to America as a college student.  In his time away from the practice, Dr. Harrell enjoys scuba diving, fishing, hunting, traveling, aquariums, and going on mission trips.


glennDr. Bobby “Glenn” Braswell, Jr. graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He matriculated at the University of Toronto, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, followed by a residency at the University of Mississippi, for Advanced Education in General Dentistry.  In addition to his private practice at Petal Family Dentistry, Dr. Braswell serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserve.

Dr. Braswell and his wife Andrea have two daughters.  When he’s away from the office, Dr. Braswell enjoys camping, traveling, hunting, fishing, Southern Miss athletics, and spending time with his family.


REBECCA HENDRY WHEAT – Registered Dental Hygienist

Rebecca graduated from Jones County Junior College, earning an Associates Degree in Science. She earned her Registered Dental Hygienist degree at Pearl River Community College. She is CPR certified. Rebecca is married with one daughter and one son.

LINDA MILEY SIMON – Registered Dental Hygienist

Linda obtained her education from Jones County Community College and the University of Mississippi School of Allied Health. She is CPR certified. Linda is married to Jerry Simon. Together, they have four children, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Away the office, she enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and playing with grandchildren and family.

LORI S. WEEKLEY – Registered Dental Hygienist

Lori graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and is CPR certified. She has been married for eighteen years and has two sons, aged sixteen and fourteen. Outside of work, she likes trail riding and camping with her horses, and watching her children in their activities.

MICHA JACK – Dental Assistant
Micha attended Pearl River Community College where she studied Dental Assisting. She is a Certified Dental Assistant, is radiology licensed and CPR certified. She is married and has two daughters. In her free time, Micha enjoys shopping for her daughters, being involved in her local church activities, and drinking as much coffee as possible.
DEBBIE HELTON – Dental Assistant

Debbie studied at Meridian Junior College, Jones County Junior College, and Pearl River Community College. She is radiology licensed and CPR certified. She is married with two sons and two grandsons, and enjoys photography in her spare time.

PAT TISDALE – Office Manager/Insurance Coordinator

Pat studied Business Administration and Marketing at Jones County Junior College, as well as secondary education through the University of Southern Mississippi. Her certifications and trainings include:

  • Collections and Insurance

Pat is married with two children. Away from the office, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and gardening.

Emilee attended Jones County Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. She received an Associates Degree in General Studies and is CPR certified. In her free time, Emilee enjoys spending time with Nova, her cat, and arts and crafts with wood, canvas and vinyl.
